Personal data protection policy

1. Purpose

At natif podcast SAS we are particularly concerned about the privacy of our users and the protection of their personal data.

We are committed to doing our best to ensure that their personal data is protected and secure.

This privacy policy ("Policy") applies to the natif. application, as described in our Terms and Conditions.

The purpose of this Policy is to set out what personal data of Users we process in the course of using our Services, and to explain the purposes for which we process it.

We undertake to comply with the legislation in force relating to the protection of privacy with regard to the automated processing of Data, in particular Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms, as amended, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of Data.

3. Personal data we process

When you create an account on the natif. application, the information you may provide to us and that we may process includes:

Your contact details such as name, first name, e-mail address, telephone number, title

Your login details such as your username and password. Your login details via third party services (Facebook, Google+),

You are informed in the Data collection forms whether the collection of the Data is mandatory or optional.

If a mandatory data field is not provided, natif. will not be able to take the registration into account.

When you use our services, we may process the following data:

Device information and connection data such as your IP address, operating system, dates and times of connections

Browsing data, content consultation data, geolocation data.

One way we collect this information is through cookies or similar technologies.

As part of the follow-up of our commercial relationship, we are required to process, in particular, information relating to the type(s) of subscription(s) taken out, information relating to your payment method, and details of the transaction carried out.

In the context of the creation of an account via the GOOGLE service, the following personal data, in addition to the data mentioned above and if they exist, will be collected: 

  • Avatar 
  • Language preference 
  •  

It is understood that this data is shared only between GOOGLE and natif., and that no other third party will have access to it.

4. Purposes of the processing of personal data

We may process your personal data collected when you create an account and/or use our services for the following purposes:

To manage the identity of the User and authenticate him/her (legal basis: execution of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation) 

Manage subscriptions to services (legal basis: performance of a contract)

Manage billing and payment transactions (legal basis: performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation) 

Handle complaints and terminations (legal basis: performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation) 

Providing customer support (legal basis: execution of a contract)

Manage contract characteristics and rights according to the commercial offer (legal basis: performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation) 

To measure the audience of the Services (legal basis: legitimate interests)

Improve the Services to optimise or offer new features (legal basis: legitimate interests)

To inform the User of offers and news from natif. (legal basis: consent)

Conducting satisfaction surveys (legal basis: consent)

To enable the User to exercise his rights as described in Article 9 below (legal basis: legitimate interests, fulfilment of a legal obligation)

Fight against fraud and non-payment (legal basis: exercise of a legal obligation)

5. Recipients of your personal data

The data processed by the user when using natif. is intended for natif. and for those persons authorised by natif. who, by virtue of their functions, need to have knowledge of it for the purposes of processing, as well as for :

natif. providers, to ensure the perfect provision of the service. 

The technical subcontractors chosen by natif may, on behalf of and on the instructions of natif, intervene to host and store User Data on their servers and to ensure the security of natif's technical infrastructure.

Natif. partners. Some partners, such as telecom operators, manufacturers of listening devices or marketing partners, may process Data in order to provide the service and to implement joint communication plans.

Similarly, natif. communicates with social networks to promote the Services.

Social networks in the event that the User has expressly consented to the association of his User account with his social network accounts at the time of registration, and may be modified at any time.

Third party applications accessible from the Application, where the User has given his/her express consent when using each application.

Administrative or judicial authorities. Natif Podcast SAS may be required to communicate information relating to its Users, including Data, to administrative or judicial authorities, in particular in the context of judicial requests.

6. Storage of your personal data

The personal data collected is stored and hosted by the company Google located at 8 Rue de Londres, 75009 Paris - France - +33 (0)1 42 68 53 00

7. How long your personal data will be kept

Your personal data is kept for a period of time necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with the legislation in force.

As long as you remain one of our Users, we need to retain your information in order to meet our contractual and legal requirements.

At the end of our contractual relationship, we keep the data necessary for the management of your account as an archive for a period of one (1) year following the end of the said contractual relationship, where it is of administrative interest.

In addition, customer data used for commercial prospecting purposes may be kept for a period of three years from the end of the commercial relationship.

8. Security of your personal data

We have adequate and appropriate measures in place to protect your personal data from destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorised access in accordance with applicable law.

However, we cannot guarantee that the data you provide to us and that we collect will not be disclosed or destroyed by a breach of our technical protection measures.

You are also responsible for protecting and accessing your information and we advise you to have a strong password that you do not use to secure multiple accesses or accounts

9. Exercising your rights and contact

At any time, and in accordance with the law in force in the European Union, you have the right to access, rectify, limit, delete, oppose, portability and erase your data.

You can also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
